Teyana Taylor, Aaron Pierre, Yvonne Orji and Roda Ahmed were just some of the star power at the fourth annual Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Hosted by actress Yvonne Orji, the organization gave $400K in grants to Black businesses and their founders. Ciara presented the first grant of the evening, the Altadena Honoree Grant, to Barbara Shay, owner of Little Red Hen Coffee Shop, which was recently destroyed when the Eaton fire tore through Altadena, CA, a historically Black community.

Fifteen Percent Pledge Founder Aurora James presented the 2025 Achievement Award alongside Kelly Rowland to three businesses: RedDrop ($200K), Brooklyn Tea ($35K), and Bernard James ($15K). Gala attendees voted to determine the winner of the awards.

The Black in Fashion Council celebrated 10 seasons of its Discovery Showroom, one of the most successful American fashion incubators. With over 50 featured designers, including Diotima, Theophilio, House of Aama, Harbison and Tia Adeola, the showroom has helped propel many emerging talents to success. Hosted at WSA by Sandrine Charles and Lindsay Peoples, the dinner honored past showroom designers while guests enjoyed handcrafted Hennessy cocktails, including elevated takes on the Espresso Martini, Margarita and Highball.
