During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, T.I. had to gather his troops after his entourage laughed at Young Dro sharing anecdotes about his sober journey.
Drug abuse is incredibly real in America and some people are never able to reach sobriety. Furthermore, some who reach sobriety never dare to tell their journey due to the stigma that comes with it. Luckily Atlanta rapper/ serial Polo wearer Young Dro found the sober life and isn’t afraid to discuss it.
Recently, Dro accompanied King of the South T.I. as he stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, and what should have been a conversation about T.I. winning $71 million in the OMG Girlz lawsuit and new music, quickly went sideways.
According to HipHopDX, as Young Dro explained his journey to Charlemagne and DJ Envy, his friend, comedian K. Dubb, kept interrupting him with laughter. After the third laughing outburst, Young Dro was fed up and finally addressed things in front of everyone.
“Aye, you finna get slapped. I mean, we cool but I’ll slap the sh*t out you ’bout that,” Dro stated while staring at the man.“
“You ain’t gonna slap me now,” the man replied to which Dro threateningly asked: “What you wanna do?”
T.I. eventually had to restore order in the room to quell his entourage from quarreling in front of cameras.
“Aye, look! Remember who you came in with! Remember what we doing here, man. Come on, man. Get this s****t together, bruh. Aiight?!” he said in his King demeanor.
Heated moment on The Breakfast Club after Young Dro opens up about going to rehab and surviving a drug overdose, and his friend K Dubb keeps laughing

The show continued but Young Dro later apologized to his friend and admitted “I ain’t finna be slapping no godd**** body.”
Dro has been open about his drug addiction and attending rehab while still trying to save close family members stuck in an addiction cycle. It’s hard to imagine what his friend found funny about that situation.
