It’s National Sleep Week. Organized by the National Sleep Foundation (NSF), the organization aims to promote the benefits of sleep, share healthy sleep habits, and encourage people to prioritize their sleep health. But how many times have we given up a good night’s sleep to polish that report just one more time, solve someone’s issue, and make sure everyone else is safe, secure and rested before ourselves? You can’t be good to anyone if you’re sleep-deprived. And ladies, you probably didn’t even realize that the National Day of Rest for Black Women was on March 10 and stayed awake right through it!
I’m here to say that you deserve a good night’s sleep. But getting into that bed can be challenging if you don’t have the right vibe. So, why not start at the heart of it all with sheets, pillowcases and comforters you can love? And wouldn’t it be nice to slip into ones designed by Black-owned companies, like the one from a Real Housewives of Atlanta star? We’ve got four for you to choose from to doze into your best sleep yet.
