Sean “Diddy” Combs was named in seven new lawsuits, all of which come from alleged victims claiming they were assaulted by the disgraced music producer.
Of the new civil lawsuits that have been filed against Combs, two come from accusers who say they were minors when they were allegedly drugged and assaulted by the Bad Boy founder. Though more lawsuits seem to be filed against Diddy almost every day at his point, this marks the first time other celebrities are cited and accused of participating in an alleged assault, according to CNN.
One Jane Doe claims in her lawsuit that she was just 13 in 2000, when she was invited by a limo driver to attend Diddy’s MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in New York City, according to reports from NBC News. After drinking a beverage, Doe felt drowsy, finding a place to lay down. Later, when she was in the bedroom resting, Combs, along withan unnamed male celebrity and an unnamed female celebrity, came into the room she was resting in.
“You are ready to party!” Combs allegedly told Doe.
According to her complaint, the unnamed male celebrity proceeded to rape Doe while Diddy and the female celebrity watched. Combs then followed by raping Doe as the other two celebrities watched, according to her lawsuit.
Reps for Combs pointed CNN to a previous statement from his attorneys when asked about these new lawsuits, denying similar allegations in lawsuits filed last week.
“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” Combs’ attorneys said in the statement. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman.”
In the latest batch of lawsuits, three plaintiffs are women and four are men, submitted as either Jane Doe or John Doe. All but one of the alleged victims claim they were drugged by the music producer.
The lawsuits filed on Monday join a slew of others filed against Combs last week by Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee and co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale. Buzbee previously announced that he was representing at least 120 of Diddy’s alleged victims.
“We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves, and will work to see that justice is done,” Buzbee said in a statement on Sunday. “We expect to be filing cases weekly naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings.”
The Bad Boy founder is being accused by federal prosecutors of orchestrating a “criminal enterprise” through his business empire. Combs has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Diddy is being held in custody in New York as he awaits trial, which is set to begin in May 2025.
