Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Make Their Black Love Story Official

Good things come to those who don’t wait. Just four months after announcing their engagement at the 2024 EBONY Power 100 Gala, Magazine Dreams star Jonathan Majors and EBONY cover star Meagan Good have tied the knot, as confirmed on Sherri, the daytime talk show, on Wednesday, March 19–a true testament to their Black love story.

The couple married at Majors’ Los Angeles home on Tuesday, March 18, with only two guests present: Good’s mother and Majors’ mom. In Los Angeles to attend the upcoming premiere of the long-awaited release of his latest movie, Magazine Dreams, Majors’ mom officiated the ceremony.

It was the perfect present for the pastor, who celebrated her birthday on March 17. “It’s the first time she’s going to see the premiere in L.A.,” Majors shared with EBONY before his nuptials. “That means a lot to me…Through all this, God made a way.”

EBONY spoke to Majors this past November after the couple announced their engagement on the EBONY Power carpet. “Life is crazy—I’m crying to you—she is the most perfect, beautiful, divine [and] powerful being that I’ve ever met,” he gushed.

“The fact that she said I’m gonna run with you, I’m with it. I feel great.”

The couple met at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in 2022. “It was an instant connection. We had no idea that two years later, we’d be engaged, but everything shifted that day,” Good shared in her January 2025 EBONY cover interview.

“This relationship has taught me about unconditional love—what it means to be loved in the fullness of who you are and to love someone who brings out the best in you. It’s been an amazing journey, and I cherish it deeply.”

The couple’s official union comes on the heels of unearthed audio of Majors admitting to agress his ex-girlfriend in a days-long clash that ended with the actor being found guilty of misdemeanor charges in 2023. He was ordered to complete a year-long counseling program in April 2024.
