EBONY EXCLUSIVE: Hot Boys Plot 30-City Reunion Tour and Cash Money Anniversary Shows

The legacy of one of hip-hop’s most influential rap collectives is far from finished.

In an exclusive interview with EBONY at Dreamville Fest 2025, Turk of the Hot Boys confirmed that the pioneering group will hit the road for a 30-city “Hot Boys Reunion” tour, alongside a separate “Cash Money 30th Anniversary” celebration. The upcoming dates follow a string of reemergence moments including last year’s Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans, a surprise-packed Christmas show in Houston, and a brief 2025 mini-tour that reignited nostalgia for one of rap’s most formative movements.

“The fans have been asking for a lot and so far, we’ve planned a 30-city tour,” Turk exclusively told EBONY backstage in Raleigh, North Carolina, “We actually have two tours — the Cash Money 30th Anniversary tour and a Lil Weezyana Presents: Hot Boys and Big Tymers Reunion Tour.”

It’s more than a reunion — it’s a restoration of legacy. In recent months, the Hot Boys (Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk and B.G.) have been increasingly spotted in the studio and onstage together, with Mannie Fresh and Birdman also making frequent appearances, signaling a renewed era of collaboration between the original Cash Money roster. The Big Tymers duo, Fresh and Birdman, have also been performing with the Hot Boys across select shows, expanding the reunion into a full-blown celebration of the Cash Money dynasty.

As one of the genre’s original blueprints for a regional rap empire, Cash Money’s imprint echoes far beyond Louisiana. The Hot Boys, Big Tymers and the label’s fearless independence directly inspired collectives like Roc-A-Fella, G-Unit and T.I.’s Grand Hustle — and most famously, Young Money, the Wayne-helmed label that helped usher in the careers of Drake and Nicki Minaj. Their DNA is also evident in Dreamville, where Turk’s presence this year illustrated the genre’s ever-turning cycle of inspiration. As new school stars take flight, they still tip their hats to the legends that laid the foundation.

And for Turk, the work isn’t just nostalgic — it’s personal. The rapper also revealed he’s preparing a new solo album titled Joseph, along with an accompanying documentary that chronicles his life, incarceration and his journey back to the stage.

With multiple shows, new music and a documentary on deck, Turk and the Hot Boys are reminding fans that their story isn’t over — it’s evolving. From Uptown New Orleans to the Dreamville stage, the influence of Cash Money continues to flow through the culture like a Mannie Fresh bassline: timeless, undeniable and still booming.
