Beyoncé has officially cemented her status as the female artist with the most RIAA-certified titles, amassing a remarkable 103 certifications across her catalog. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the milestone, which encompasses her time with Destiny’s Child and her solo achievements, including her latest, the 11-time GRAMMY-nominated Cowboy Carter.
“We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres,” said RIAA President & COO Michele Ballantyne. “Beyoncé’s iconic catalog has earned the achievement of most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA’s history. Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records—and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat!”
The RIAA serves as the industry standard for tracking sales, shipments and streaming metrics to gauge the commercial success of sound recordings. Its Gold, Platinum and Diamond Awards remain the benchmark for celebrating artistic and commercial milestones in music. Beyoncé now boasts two Diamond-certified tracks: “Halo” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” both from her I Am… Sasha Fierce era, each achieving 11x Platinum status. Other staples like “Drunk in Love” and “Crazy in Love” are steadily closing in on similar milestones.
Her albums have also racked up impressive numbers: 2022’s Renaissance is certified 2x Platinum, 2016’s Lemonade holds 4x Platinum status, while 2008’s I Am… Sasha Fierce and Dangerously in Love are each certified 7x Platinum. Beyoncé’s extensive collection of Platinum singles ranges from timeless hits like “Me, Myself and I” to the female-empowerment anthem “Formation.” (A full list of the updated certifications can be found here.)
In March 2024, Beyoncé dropped Cowboy Carter, an ambitious, 27-track country-inspired album that secured 11 GRAMMY nominations—the most for any album by a female artist in a single year. The project earned nods in major categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and Best Country Album. Highlights from the album include collaborations with Post Malone on “Leviis Jeans,” Linda Martell and Shaboozey on “Spaghetti,” and Miley Cyrus on “II MOST WANTED.” Tracks like “16 CARRIAGES,” “Bodyguard,” and “YA YA” further showcase her genre-spanning prowess.
This certification milestone comes just weeks before Beyoncé’s highly anticipated Christmas Day NFL Halftime Show, which will stream live on Netflix—a historic first for the platform and another groundbreaking moment for the Texas Hold ‘Em hitmaker.
