Seattle, September 12, 2024 – Asia Society Seattle hosts the Seattle Annual Event at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The 2024 Seattle Annual Event is a celebration of an extraordinary year of programs and community engagement, marking the one-year anniversary from our launch. From thought-provoking discussions to captivating cultural performances, this anniversary event is a showcase of Asia Society Seattle’s critical and unique role in navigating shared futures between the U.S. and Asia, and among Asian diasporas in the Pacific Northwest.
In this moderated panel discussion, Prakash Gupta, Consul General of India in Seattle; Makoto Iyori, Consul General of Japan in Seattle; and Eunji Seo, Consul General of Republic of Korea in Seattle, together share their perspectives on U.S.-Asia Relations. Michael W. Michalak, former U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, moderates the conservation.
