The 2025 Seattle concert calendar just keeps filling up.
From arena rock bands to indie acts, there’s something to keep every music lover dancing and singing this year. (Not to mention local music festivals, which will unveil lineups and dates in the coming months.)
Here are nine recently announced shows that we’re particularly excited about, from classic rockers to indie acts and a country superstar, listed in order of concert date.
Phish
The ultimate jam band is bringing its unpredictable set lists to Seattle this spring for two shows. The Vermonters aren’t the most frequent visitors to the West Coast, and their spring tour features just four cities, so this is sure to be a hot ticket. Bring your most comfortable pair of Birkenstocks, as these dudes love to stretch out their time onstage.

Murs
Los Angeles underground rapper Murs has been writing rhymes for nearly 30 years and appears to be eyeing the exit door with his “The Last Run Tour,” which features a May stop at the High Dive. Murs’ longtime collaborations with producer 9th Wonder on albums like “Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition” and “The Iliad is Dead and the Odyssey is Over” are particularly compelling, for the uninitiated.

Sharon Van Etten
Sharon Van Etten is one of the most celebrated indie singer-songwriters of the 21st century, and on Feb. 7, she plans to release her new album, “Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory.” It’s the first record she’s created in the studio with her live backing band and it sounds phenomenal. You won’t want to miss hearing these tunes live.

Beach Bunny
As the brainchild of Lili Trifilio, Beach Bunny turned heads in a major way four years ago, when their single “Cloud 9” went viral on TikTok. The Chicago rockers rolled with the momentum and are back again this year with their latest single, “Clueless,” which is a delightfully bouncing indie ballad. Hopefully it’s a harbinger of even better tracks to come.

Morgan Wallen
On Friday morning, pop-country bad boy Morgan Wallen announced his “I’m the Problem Tour,” which will take over Lumen Field for two nights in July. On the tour, which will support Wallen’s forthcoming album of the same name, Wallen will receive support from a variety of artists. In Seattle, Miranda Lambert is the special guest on Night 1 while Brooks & Dunn take Night 2; Anne Wilson is the opening act both nights.

Tedeschi Trucks Band
The Gorge is one of the greatest live venues in the world, with breathtaking scenery and superb acoustics. Few bands are better equipped to take full advantage of that setting than the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The 10-piece outfit plan on taking over the desert in August for what surely will be a barnburner of Southern rock, heavy on the slide guitar. Whiskey Myers co-headlines.

Nine Inch Nails
After canceling plans to perform in Seattle due to the pandemic in 2020, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are returning for the first time in over a dozen years with their “Peel It Back Tour.” Since they last played the building formerly known as KeyArena, the pair have picked up two Golden Globes and an Oscar for their film soundtrack work. Might we get some new tunes this year?

Billy Idol
Billy Idol is one of the most vicious-sounding rock singers of the 1980s. Time has done little to round off the edges of his octave-lacerating voice, and he looks to bring a set of his biggest hits to town in the fall as part of his “It’s a Nice Day To … Tour Again.” Helping him turn back the clock: Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. Prepare for a night of heavy riffs and massive hair.

Lord Huron
After opening for Kacey Musgraves on her “Deeper Well” arena tour, folk rockers Lord Huron are headlining an entire arena run of their own in 2025. The band recently unveiled their latest single, a collaboration with actor Kristen Stewart called “Who Laughs Last?,” fueling speculation that a full-length record might be coming soon.
