He partnered with The GEANCO Foundation, a surgical organization that saves and transforms lives in Africa through a system of modern, solar-powered rural family clinics, helping safely deliver healthy babies, vaccinate infants and provide high-quality care to men and boys. The David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides full tuition, healthcare, leadership training, STEM education and mental and menstrual health support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. There are currently 44 scholars attending four schools throughout Nigeria.
