Series highlights
Inspired by a true story, the limited series “Apple Cider Vinegar” (Netflix, Feb. 6) follows two young women (Kaitlyn Dever and Alycia Debnam-Carey) who acquire a global following as they create a wellness empire built on a lie.
Laverne Cox stars as a trans woman who returns home to reconnect with her father (George Wallace) in the comedy “Clean Slate” (Prime Video, Feb. 6), the last project from co-creator Norman Lear.
The animated “Win or Lose” (Disney+, Feb. 19), the first original series from Pixar, puts its young viewers in the shoes of eight different characters as they deal with their anxieties while preparing for a big championship softball game.
“Zero Day” (Netflix, Feb. 20) features Robert De Niro, in his first TV series, as a former U.S. president who leads the investigation into a nationwide cyberattack while battling his own demons. The limited series also stars Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton and Angela Basset.
Stephen Graham and Malachi Kirby star in “A Thousand Blows” (Hulu, Feb. 21), a series set in the world of underground boxing in 1880s London from creator Steven Knight.
“Eyes on the Prize III: We Who Believe in Freedom Cannot Rest” (Max, Feb. 25) continues the landmark documentary series on the Civil Rights Movement.
The sports comedy “Running Point” (Netflix, Feb. 27), created by Mindy Kaling, stars Kate Hudson as the new president of a major professional basketball team.

Amy Schumer fakes a baby bump when she feels left out of her friends’ new lives in “Kinda Pregnant” (Netflix, Feb. 5), and then meets the man of her dreams (Will Forte).
“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” (Peacock, Feb. 13) finds our romantic hero (Renée Zellweger) widowed with two children and attempting to restart her life with the help of family and friends. Hugh Grant, Isla Fisher and Emma Thompson co-star.
“Waitress: The Musical” (Max, Feb. 14) brings the Broadway production starring Sara Bareilles as a small-town waitress and pie-maker to the screen.
Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy are operatives protecting humanity from a mysterious threat in the thriller “The Gorge” (Apple TV+, Feb. 14) from director Scott Derrickson.
Arriving from theaters is the romantic drama “We Live in Time” (Max, Feb. 7) starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, plus:
- Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator II” (Paramount+, now streaming) with Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington (along with the Oscar-winning original).
- “Piece by Piece” (Peacock, Feb. 7), the Lego-animated Pharrell Williams documentary.
- Survival thriller “Elevation” (Max, Feb. 21) with Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin.

The final episodes of “Cobra Kai,” the sequel to the “Karate Kid” films, roll out (Feb. 13).
Scott Foley heads to Italy for the romantic comedy feature “La Dolce Villa” (Feb. 13).
True stories: “Surviving Black Hawk Down” (Feb. 10) revisits the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu that inspired the 2001 feature film.

The documentary “SLY LIVES! aka the Burden of Black Genius” (Feb. 13) examines the life and legacy of Sly and the Family Stone.

The biblical drama “House of David” (Feb. 27) follows the ascent of David to become king of ancient Israel.
Takeshi Kitano directs and stars in the crime comedy “Broken Rage” (Feb. 13) from Japan, while Asha Banks and Jason Flemyng headline the romantic drama “My Fault: London” (Feb. 13).
Returning are new seasons of the animated “Invincible” (Feb. 6) and the action hit “Reacher” (Feb. 20).

Trevor Noah hosts the 67th Grammy Awards (Feb. 2).
Hillary Swank joins the cast for the third season of “Yellowjackets” (Feb. 14), and Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford return for the second season of “1923” (Feb. 23).
Peacock
The documentary “Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy” (Feb. 25) investigates the life and death of the “Friends” star.
The debuts of murder mystery “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” (Feb. 24) and legal drama spinoff “Suits LA” (Feb. 24) stream the day after their respective network debuts on NBC.
