Femme It Forward, the boundary-pushing music and entertainment powerhouse dedicated to elevating female voices, has unveiled plans for its 3rd Annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala. Set for Friday, November 8, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, this year’s celebration—executively produced by Miatta Johnson and Massah David of MVD Inc.—will bring together a cross-section of artists, industry innovators and cultural leaders to honor pioneering women who have made lasting impacts across the entertainment landscape.
This year’s honorees include a stellar lineup of women shaping music’s future, including rapper GloRilla, who will receive the Big Femme Energy Award, acknowledging her significant influence on today’s music scene, and multi-genre trailblazer Doechii, recipient of the Visionary Award, celebrating her role in redefining what’s possible for women in music. The iconic Jill Scott will be honored with the Muse Award in recognition of her timeless contributions that have inspired countless artists across generations. Sister duo Chloe & Halle will receive the My Sister’s Keeper Award for their embodiment of unity and sisterhood, while Grammy-nominated songwriter Nija will be celebrated with the Pen It Forward Award for her unmatched songwriting contributions. Rising star Lady London will take home the Self-Love Award for her empowering music and inspirational journey.
Alongside the awards, the evening will feature standout performances from Tanerelle, Jai’Len Josey, Amaria, and Zyah Belle, with dynamic DJ sets from DJ Faucet and narration from legendary MC Lyte. “We are beyond excited to bring the Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala back for a third year,” shared Femme It Forward CEO and Founder Heather Lowery. “This celebration isn’t just about recognition; it’s about planting seeds for a legacy that will last long after us. We honor the trailblazing women who shift culture and lift up the next generation of creatives.”
In addition to the awards, Femme It Forward will also honor the mentors of its Next Gem Femme program, designed to elevate young women of color within the industry. The gala serves as a capstone of Femme It Forward’s commitment to fostering diverse talent, a mission that aligns with major platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, Google, and Amazon, which have championed inclusive representation across entertainment. Her guidance empowers young women, encouraging them to carve impactful paths in media and entertainment.
