(LLF) annual awards dinner and gala. Held at Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood, CA, the night was hosted by radio legend Skip Cheatham of MAJIC 94.5 in Dallas with entertainment by DJ Battlecat. Former Living Legends honorees Tracey J. Jordan and Lionel Ridenour were the dinner chairpersons.
Hard Truths star Marianne Jean-Baptiste joined BAFTA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, for its inaugural New York Tea Party in cooperation with the New York Film Festival. Colman Domingo, Keegan-Michael Key, Jharrel Jerome, and British actors Noma Dumezweni and Tuwaine Barrett mingled among the crowd, who enjoyed tea sandwiches and champagne. Held at The Pierre NY hotel, the fete celebrated industry professionals, creatives and talent with exciting new projects.
CultureCon 2024 brought summer camp vibes to Brooklyn with bold brand activations, inspiring panels and a surprise performance by Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems at the CÎROC Closing Campfire Party.
