Black photographers, often overlooked, play a key role in sharing the experiences and realities of their communities with the rest of the world. Their lived experiences make what is excluded from the frame equally as important as what is in it. In this panel, four acclaimed Black photographers will share their journeys, roles and experiences documenting their own communities.
Moderated by Black Summer guest curator Vanessa Charlot and photographers Malik Marble, Kay Hickman, Jon Cherry, and Dee Dwyer.
