It was a groovy good time at the Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Executive producer Will Packer and the A-list-packed cast, including executive producer and star Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chloe Bailey, Don Cheadle, Terrence Howard and more, were on hand to watch the series, which revolves around the incredible real-life tale of a robbery that went down the night of Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight in Atlanta in 1970.
For the after-party, the Appel Room was transformed into a 1970s nightclub, complete with beats from DJ Trauma and a replica of Chicken Man’s (played by Kevin Hart) 1966 Cadillac Calais, custom-built by the renowned West Coast Customs. Along with disco dancers and celebrity spottings, a special couch corner was held for the “80s Mom Club,” where the mom of Fight Night podcast creator Jeff Keating, on which the series is based, shimmied with Sing Sing’s now retired first Black female assistant warden, Alexandreena Dixon.
